1. About Me Plus One

Me Plus One is a curated, invite-only professional network designed to connect senior professionals through trusted, peer-to-peer introductions. The network is facilitated via WhatsApp, with occasional events, speaker sessions, polls, and informal meetups.

2. Eligibility

To join Me Plus One, you must:

Be personally invited by an existing member or the Me Plus One team.
Be willing to invite one trusted peer (your “Plus One”) who reflects the quality and values of the group.
Be at least 18 years old and act in a professional capacity.

We reserve the right to review, accept, or decline membership at our sole discretion.

3. Community Expectations

By participating in Me Plus One, you agree to:

Engage respectfully and professionally with all members.
Refrain from unsolicited selling, spamming, or excessive self-promotion.
Maintain confidentiality of private discussions and member information.
Only share the group invite link or community content with your nominated Plus One (unless otherwise approved).
Not share offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.

Any violation of these principles may result in removal from the network without warning.

4. Content & Contributions

You are responsible for any content (text, links, files, messages, etc.) you share in Me Plus One.

By submitting content to the Platform, you:

Represent that you own or have the right to share the content.
Grant Me Plus One a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, share, and display your contributions within the context of the community.

We may moderate or remove any content at our discretion.

5. Events & Meetups

Me Plus One occasionally organises informal events and expert sessions.

By attending any event, you:

Accept that attendance is at your own risk.
Acknowledge that Me Plus One is not liable for any incidents, damages, or losses incurred at or as a result of these events.
Agree to conduct yourself professionally and with respect for others.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or future invitations based on conduct.

6. Privacy & Data

We collect and store personal information (e.g. name, email address, job title) to facilitate access to the group and related activities.

By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and store your data in compliance with applicable laws (including GDPR).

We will never sell your data to third parties.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to:

Suspend or remove any user who violates these Terms or the spirit of the community.
Modify or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time without notice.

You may leave the community at any time by notifying us or exiting the group.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
